National PTA is currently seeking candidates interested in serving on a National PTA Committee for the 2026-2029 term of office. Committee members will be reviewed by the National Leadership Recruitment Committee, then appointed by the National PTA President within 14 days of the election of officers and approved by the Board of Directors.
National PTA Standing Committees (three-year term): Bylaws; Diversity, Inclusion and Outreach; Field Service; Legislation; Membership; and Resolutions
(Subject to Change) National PTA Special Committees (three-year term): Convention; Elections; Family Engagement; Volunteer Development
Youth Member Representative on the National PTA Board of Directors (three-year term): The President of National PTA, with approval of the Board of Directors, appoints these members. Youth members must be at least 18 years of age but not older than 22 years of age on the date of the appointment.

Completed LOIs must be submitted to National PTA's Nominating and Leadership Recruitment Committee (NLRC) via this online form by 11:59 p.m. EST Sunday, March 15.
